Day 224 - Shopping Exhaustion!

Can I just say that putting toddler apps on my phone and ipad was a pretty big mistake? I can't get out my phone or ipad in front of this little man anymore, because he has claimed them as his own! Here's Henry asleep in his pram at the shops after a particularly tiring game of Tozzle!

Day 174 - Henry's First Escalator Trip

We tried this the other week, but Henry wouldn't have a bar of it... the escalator that is! Today he was happy to do it and then to go back down and do it again! Holding on tightly to his Dad's hand of course. We had a very big shopping trip today, which we don't get to do very often, but Henry was enjoying himself, so we were able to buy a few things for each of us and to get something for Dani's birthday, which is today!

Day 121 - Henry's Wardrobe

With Henry's late sleep yesterday we never made it to the shops, even though that had been the plan. I really wanted to get him some new winter pyjamas and a couple of long sleeve T-shirts so I went over to Target this afternoon after work.

I never thought that I would enjoy buying clothes for Henry as much as I do, mostly because there is not as much of a range available for boys, compared to girls' clothes. However,  I probably wouldn't get such good value for my money if I had had a daughter instead, because mostly all the chain stores think that all little girls should be in pink... everyday, every clothing item, all the time. By the way, Henry has worn pink a couple of times... it suits him, in a manly way :)

Day 39 - A Rare Afternoon Shopping

This afternoon after work, I took Henry over to the Canberra Centre, to pick up the shoes that I had ordered at Diana Ferrari. When I discovered that they were doing a promotion with a 'buy two items get one free' offer, I took them up on it, which resulted in me getting a pair of red stretch 3/4 pants worth $100 for nothing! Buying a few things got me in a bit of a shopping mood, and it is rare for this to happen and actually find things that I like! I went on to find a few things I liked at Forever New and Jeanswest... Success!
