Welcome to my 2012 project, which for this year is a Project 366! My aim for my page is to publish one photo everyday that depicts what is happening in my life. The idea is to keep this as a record, later in printed form, to enjoy years down the track.

Day 240 - Dream
Today I had to do a photo that said Dream. Easy, right? Not really, although I do dream about the new house that we will build at Googong next year quite a bit, so this little collage says it all!

Day 235 - Home
A little snapshot of our house today, seen through the trees and a reminder for me about how many things are on my to do list for the next few months!

Day 206 - Sick Day
Henry is doing what most people like to do on a sick day... curling up on his couch by the window, reading a few picture books in the winter sunshine. A cold and conjunctivitis kept him (and me) home today for the second time in a few weeks. I have to say though, that although I had to run about finding him fresh tissues all day he was fairly much his usual self today. We watched a lot of Sesame Street (remember the "12" song? Saw the new version today... not as good!), had a very long lunch, had a short sleep, read books, went outside for a bit and lastly went to see Dale at work, so that Henry could go home with his Daddy and I could get over to my 5.30 pilates. Exhausted by his day, Henry was in bed by 8.15.

Day 10 - Anyone Home?
Generally, as a rule, I always try to photograph Henry at his height, but this was such a cute picture from above, that I snapped it quickly, since I had my camera out. Henry and his little buddy, Daisy were very patient waiting for me to unlock the front door this afternoon huh?

Day 6 - Just How I Wanted It... Part 1!
Have you ever seen those magazine shoots of a beautiful room where they might have a pretty, fluffy dog as a little accessory? Well our dogs are nothing like that, preferring to run around like bezerkos and finally giving me about 0.3 of a second to take this photo of our newly arranged lounge room! Somehow Dale agreed to help me with this today and I am so happy with the result.
Two things I have realised:
1. Corner lounges are super comfy but not really very versatile when it comes to rearranging furniture
2. Often the obvious way to set up your furniture does not look as good as it could when you really think about alternatives
We have lived here for about 3 and a half years and the lounge has always been in the back left corner which is where it was kind of plonked on moving day.
Our plan is to set up a tiny table in the far right corner for Jenna to have her computer (somewhere where we can keep an eye on it) and to get a few more photos on the wall that I have been meaning to get framed; and then we will be done. I am hoping that today's photo will be the first in a series of attempts at reorganisation of our house over these holidays!
