Day 179 - The Eternal Quest for Order

In my eternal quest for order, one thing that I have sorted recently is the laundry shelves! I don't know who would have thought that laundry shelves should be open, or if they used to have doors, but they have always looked messy. I bought the Laundy and House tin from Aldi a couple of weeks ago when they appeared in their catalogue. I have seen similar ones in either Kmart or Big W as well. Then I  got my hands on two sets of baskets from Big W. The baskets are actually plastic, but they look so good, you can only tell by touching them. I think the plastic is a good idea for the laundry. Finally a place to store all those cleaning products, the multiplying green shopping bags and other paraphernalia!

Day 65 - Interesting Bargains

Anyone else like shopping at Aldi? For me it is akin to hunting through $2 shops and reject shops. As long as all the stock is all laid out properly I enjoy hunting for an interesting bargain. It is the total opposite of hunting though jumbled sales tables, such as the shoe ones that some stores set up and all the sizes are mixed in together, or like the ones some clothes shops do, where they set up a table of mixed discounted clothing and it is like going through the basket of unfolded washing at home!

Today at Aldi, a packet of coffee pods for work, a recipe journal that I will supposedly fill out with all of my favourite so called 'signature dishes' and a proper bath toy for Henry (no more old tupperware for him!)
